CARE + TIPS

Good hair care starts with understanding what your hair and scalp need.

Hair changes with time, seasons, hormones, styling and everyday life. These simple guides share practical ways to care for it — without making things complicated.

Shampoo Well

Shampoo the scalp, not the lengths.

Wet your hair thoroughly, then work the shampoo into your scalp with your fingertips. Let the lather rinse through the lengths rather than scrubbing them.

With a shampoo bar, a little goes a long way.

Caring for fine + fragile hair

Fine hair benefits from gentle handling.

Avoid rough towel drying and excessive brushing when hair is wet. Pat or squeeze gently with a towel, and use a wide-tooth comb if you need to detangle.

Less pulling and friction can mean less breakage.

Getting the most from your Shampoo Bar

A shampoo bar works best when you keep it simple.

Wet your hair well, then either glide the bar lightly over your hair or lather it between wet hands before applying. Massage gently into the scalp and rinse thoroughly.

After use, let the bar dry between washes. This helps it last longer.

First. Pre-Shampoo Scalp Oil

Section hair and apply a small amount to scalp and massage gently. Leave for 20–45 minutes, then shampoo as usual.

Start with less than you think you need, particularly if your hair is fine.

Using a solid conditioner bar

After rinsing out your shampoo, keep the water flowing through your hair.

Glide the conditioner bar gently through the lengths while the water is sheeting through your hair, then finger-comb to distribute the conditioner evenly.

If your hair needs more, repeat with a little more conditioner. Rinse thoroughly and style as usual.
